Flash Gordon

As a hug fan of flash gordon, I was really excited about this piece (I still am). I enjoy the retro ship, Ming is very impressive as with the entire background montage. The good dr, the beast, the Prince and the overall feel. I really like the red in the background as well, a very nice touch.

Dale was a surprise, but I like how you fleshed her out - her figure is clean and stands with a lot of power,which is really good.

My only real issue is flash himself. You have such a dynamic feel about the entire piece and Flash is a little ho-hum. He looks big yet he does not have the same flare as the rest of the work. Very clean, yet I would love to see him a little more dynamic, with a lot more power in his stance and his poise.

The other issue is simple anatomy on flash as well. Back arm too low and forward knee is too high (need to bring it down) and his wrist and forearm look a little meshed. These issues are minor and can be tweaked.

It is a fantastic piece and I will fav it. (I do not usally fav b/w pencil pieces) but I really like this one a lot. Like I said you have all the key elements. It is just that Flash could be a little more dynamic.

Keep up the fantastic work- I think this will be a great cover.
